ABOUT ME
like it says on the front page, my name is colt! i'm a queer & neurodivergent artist currently based in pennsylvania, but i have plans to relocate hopefully within the next year!
in my current living situation, funds are very tight, and due to my mental health, working a "regular" job is currently an unsafe option for me.so, as of right now, my only options for income are through my arts! (i am, however, also looking into getting on disability)aside from digital art, i am also a music artist under the name colt ryder stone! while i enjoy genre hopping, most of my music has an anti-folk, singer-songwriter kind of sound.
other than my dad and grandma, i live with our two cats, benji and penny!

penny is my cat, while benji is my dad's. i've been doing my best to socialize them since the dog moved out, and while they can tolerate each other, penny doesn't like benji very much.nonetheless, they do coexist!
TERMS OF SERVICE
i reserve the right to decline if i feel uncomfortable, or that i cannot deliver my best work.
be as specific as you'd like, the more details the better! if you are not specific, i will take artistic liberties, but i do want to make something you'll like.
please provide me with a deadline, if possible! i'm a big procrastinator, but a (realistic) deadline helps me to manage that. especially if i'm busy and have to let it sit for a little, i need the shove.
turnaround can range from same-day to one week, depending on my mental health and my (usually empty) schedule.
having said this, i'll try to do your commission while you're online for work-in-progress shots and corrections! this is because i prefer to do things in one sitting.
you may post your commission wherever you like when you're done, as long as it is posted with credit and is only posted for personal use!
please do not edit my art beyond cropping for profile photos, headers, etc.!
you are not permitted to use my art for ai training, or for nfts
i can also provide a timelapse of your commission upon request! i always have the setting for recording them on, so you can ask whenever.
WILL DRAW
original, fan, & canon characters
pet portraits
real people (if they're not a celebrity, please provide me with proof of permission!)
shipping / couple (or more) art
WILL UPCHARGE
super complex outfits or designs (think genshin impact)
subjects other than humanoids / dogs / cats / foxes / similar (i'm not super experienced with subjects other than these, so they might bring extra difficulties)
ask about explicit sexual nsfw, as i don't have a public example gallery and will take these on a case-by-case basis, for adults only! (suggestive poses & artistic nudity don't count for higher pricing, however please be 18+ for those too!)
scenic/complex backgrounds (i have one in my fully shaded examples, if you'd like to see, i paint them!)
smaller/simpler vehicles (like motorcycles/dirtbikes and things like that)
WON'T DRAW
highly detailed machinery (mechanical/prosthetic limbs are okay, but i won't do anything more complex!)
more complex vehicles (like cars, buses, planes, stuff like that)
art that promotes harassment
political art & hate symbols
PAYMENT
i accept payment at any point during the artwork- i prefer before, but you can pay me during the process or we can come up with a payment plan for larger pieces! only thing is, you will not receive the fully finished image until i have received payment in full.
i do send work-in-progress images, though, so you can ask for (reasonable) alterations throughout the process.
if you cancel on me for any given reason, i do not offer refunds.
though, if i have to cancel on you, we can work something out with refunding!
i mainly take payment through paypal, venmo, or cashapp! alternatively, i'm ok with using zelle, but that's a last resort to me.
just let me know which you'd like to use, the earlier on in the process the better!
